Introducing Epilog Cloud: one platform for cemeteries and crematoria

Records, bookings, finance, mapping, memorials and reporting, sharing one set of records. Here is how the pieces fit together.

The Epilog Cloud records list on a dark brand background

Running a bereavement service means keeping a lot of things in step: the booking, the paperwork before a cremation can go ahead, the invoice to the funeral director, the grave, the memorial that will stand on it for decades, and the figures you are asked for at the end of the year. Epilog Cloud keeps them in one place.

Everything hangs off the record

Every burial, cremation, appointment and memorial service is a record. The invoice is raised against it, the checklist runs on it, the memorial commemorates the person on it and the diary shows it. Because there is only one record, nothing has to be typed twice.

Each type and category of service shows the tabs it needs. A pet cremation has an owner rather than an applicant and no Doctors tab; a burial of ashes gets the booking form that suits it. And every field can be renamed, made required or hidden, so the forms match the way your council works.

A diary that checks the rules for you

The schedule shows a day or a week, for one site or all of them. Opening hours, notice periods, how far ahead you take bookings and how many services can run at once are checked as a booking is made. Funeral directors can request slots through their own portal, and your team confirms them.

Money beside the service

Invoices are raised from the record, to the funeral director and the family separately where needed, with prices and VAT from your own product catalogue. Funeral director accounts carry credit limits and payment terms, and a single payment can be spread across several invoices.

The figures you are asked for

Dozens of analytic reports read live from your records, with more added as you need them, and the CIPFA, FBCA and CMA returns come from the same data. A dashboard shows what needs attention this week: upcoming services, overdue completions, and ashes waiting to be collected.

And the rest

  • Cemetery maps drawn over real imagery, with every plot tied to the register
  • Memorials, rights, leases and stonemason work permits
  • Letters that fill themselves from the record, checked before they are sent
  • Worklists for the day’s sheets, authorities and labels
  • One search box for everything, and an assistant that knows the product

If you would like to see it with your own services in mind, book a demo and we will walk you through it.
